Old Bar Harbor House - Complete Renovation

This complete transformation brought a classic 1931 coastal home into the modern era through thoughtful space planning, structural modernization, and fine New England craftsmanship. Our design-build team executed a full interior and exterior overhaul, taking dated spaces down to the studs to establish a luminous, highly functional layout tailored for contemporary living.

The interior highlights a custom chef’s kitchen finished with soft sage-green shaker cabinetry, luminous white quartz countertops, warm brass hardware, a full-height glossy subway tile backsplash, and professional-grade stainless appliances. Upgraded bathrooms feature contemporary walk-in showers with two-tone stacked tile surrounds, chevron floor tiling, matte black fixtures, and subtle horizontal shiplap details. Throughout the home, seamless natural hardwood flooring connects the rooms, complemented by crisp Craftsman millwork, box newel posts, and sunlit coastal paint palettes. On the exterior, the original failing 1930s garage was demolished down to the ground and replaced with a newly built custom garage, alongside a brand-new outdoor living deck engineered to endure Maine's coastal climate.
